Investigation have revealed that the
beneficial effect of growth substances on fruit set in brinjal.Among
the chemicals,para-chlorophenoxacetic acid (4-CPA 20ppm)
2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D 2-5ppm)and naphtaleneacetic
acid(NAA) are the most effective.
Pinching : Pinching of first flowering/ just set fruits helps the plant to put up good vegetative growth and throws more secondary branches and thus increases the yield.
