This
line has been derived from
cross between IIHR-108 and IIHR-3
developed by adapting pedigree method of
breeding and IPS were
made in segregating population with the
traits such as a plants
tall and spreading growth habit with dark green stem
and dark green leaves and foliage.
Flower are purple in colour and fruits are green long fruits
with fleshy green calyx having smooth
texture and contains less seeds,-Less browning, and
slow seed maturit y with good keeping and cooking qualities,
early in first maturity (48-55 days) with high yield
potential of 38-40 t/ha 95-120ays
of total crop duration and excellent for preparing for
vaingi bath& identified for release at institute
level by VTIC during September, 2015
